Overview

GRIN is seeking a highly organized Engineering Administrative Assistant to help our Engineering Team run efficiently. This person will work closely with GRIN’s VP of Engineering and other Engineering leaders to assist in completing slide decks, facilitating/coordinating meetings and events, while fostering a positive engineering environment. Responsibilities

What you’ll Do:

  • Assist in the day to day administrative tasks of helping a remote Engineering organization of to be 100+ members run smoothly
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to collect, organize and distribute critical weekly reports
  • Manage multiple calendars and assist in coordinating/scheduling virtual meetings
  • Improve gaps of communication within the Engineering department and cross functionally
  • Build a trusted system for employee departmental recognition
  • Help develop and plan quarterly Engineering leadership planning sessions
  • Work closely with other departments at GRIN as needed to help condense data related to onboarding, enablement and operations
  • Execute on ad hoc projects and tasks with top tier attention to detail

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • 1+ year administrative experience supporting a division, organization, or executive team
  • Proficiency with creating slide decks via google slide or powerpoint
  • Proven, outstanding organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal aptitude
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently
  • Experience working with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  • Event planning experience is a plus
  • Experience supporting in a large organization is a plus
  • Experience working with engineering teams is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to condense complex information into simple language for the appropriate audience.
