The role of the Manager, Marketing Operations is to focus on the strategy, design, execution and operations of the business's lead management processes, marketing databases, marketing automation solutions, and tracking performance in order to plan, report, and conduct analyses.

As the Manager, Marketing Operations, you will work to create scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and database management. You will also conduct complex data analyses that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the company. You will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once. As part of the Revenue Operations Team, you will own the Marketing Operations pillar of Rev Ops including managing the tech stack, all processes, reporting & execution.

While GRIN is headquartered in Sacramento, CA, this position has the ability to be fully remote. GRIN has a Remote First work policy, meaning remote, or "work from home", is the default. GRIN has office space available if you decide to go into the office a few days a week, and there are a few days each quarter that you'd be required to come in for quarterly planning meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (website, marketing automation, CRM, “aircover” systems, etc.) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign structure, tracking, and lead management.
  • Enable the marketing team to continuously test and iterate for improvements to various KPIs.
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
  • Maintain integrations between all marketing technologies: Pardot & Salesforce, Adwords and Salesforce, etc.
  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database.
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.
  • Ensure data integrity, naming consistency, and overall alignment with the other RevOps functions and compliance with GRIN’s global data systems and standards.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Salesforce (Admin Certified Preferred)
  • Pardot (Certified Preferred)
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Facebook Ads
  • Google Ads
  • Wordpress
  • Conversion rate optimization
  • Successful project management
  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation systems and integrating those systems with other technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, naturally curious, and a desire to improve processes.
