    GRIN is seeking a talented and experienced VP of Finance & Operations who will oversee and grow Finance, Accounting, HR, Talent Acquisition, and Operations while reporting to the COO. You will be responsible for the development of the company’s financial strategy and contribute to the development of the company’s strategic goals. In addition to the strategic components, the Vice President of Finance & Operations will be charged with developing and implementing more sophisticated policies and procedures both in the finance and general operational realms, including people operations, legal, and facilities. A combination of creativity and ambition alongside a strong track record of problem-solving and change management will be critical in this exciting, new role.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions:

    • Lead and manage the finance & operations teams, while holding them accountable to the set targets inside the org
    • Be a strategic partner to the CEO, COO and Board, while owning the financial planning & analysis process inside the company
    • Work with investors and venture capital firms
    • Own forecasting process across all functions to ensure an accurate, always up to date operating model
    • Implement financial controls across all functions to manage and control costs
    • Owning risk mitigation for the entire organization (Operations & HR) to ensure a vibrant and happy workforce while mitigating risk
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual budgeting process. You will also own all audit processes inside the company
    • Collaborate with colleagues to implement new processes and organizational routines that maximize internal efficiency and external impact
    • All other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of experience in business, finance and operations (required); 3+ years in one or more roles managing internal operations (preferred)
    • MBA or equivalent degree (preferred)
    • Expert in FP&A and financial modeling/forecasting
    • Experience in a startup/high growth environment
    • Has been through later stage growth rounds
    • Strong process skills
    • Deep appreciation and comfort with analytical rigor and clarity
    • Sharp communication skills including excellence in writing and presenting
